Listen to me on Premier Radio 2pm Saturday

I'm on the wireless for the first time discussing 'How well does the church communicate God?' with Hemant Mehta who sold his soul on ebay. Tune in for the story. There is a listen again option if you aren't free at 2pm!

"Can Christianity really live up to the claims it makes? Justin Brierley and his guests discuss the big questions about the Christian faith."

Hemant is a really friendly sounding guy. He says that he's going to drop in for a coffee when he is next in London. I can't wait to meet him in person.

The arguments for the resurrection and the historical Jesus as the New Testament presents him can be explored in much more depth here:

I was also on Unbelievable debating the resurrection with Canon Michael Cole.

One great thing about the programme is the fairness of the moderation of the Christian presenter , Justin Brierley. He does an exceptional job, and deserves great credit.

Premier Christian radio does not have my debate on its listen again page, but it can be found

I loved your gentle words about checking evidence and the reasonableness of faith. You came across very clear, confident and compassionate.

Curious that the atheist finds the prosperity gospel and emerging church most appealing - but he's got a point that we ought to be a lot more aware about those coming in from the outside. As an insider I often find myself befuddled by what's going on!
